Music Theory & High School Credits

At Midtown Music School, we know our Music Theory. We love it too! If you want to know how all the levels of Theory work - including how to earn Ontario High School Credits - read on for all the information you need, along with why we feel we do things differently for theory. You will learn how music truly works, and love the learning along the way!

The Rec Room Group Classes

While some producers, composers and students want to learn skills specific to their projects, we know many people are keen to learn the basics or how to work with digital music production technology. Our Digital Music Specialist, Connor Doyle, has crafted a program catered to those just starting out. We make each class comprehensive, interactive and most of all, incredibly fun! Welcome William Shookhoff!

Midtown Music School is thrilled to announce our newest faculty member, William Shookhoff! Bill is a very accomplished musician, teacher, and coach. Among his career highlights: being the inaugural Associate Conductor of the first Canadian company of Les Miserables, and the initial touring company of Phantom of the Opera, working with opera companies all across North America, working at the Banff Centre for the Arts, and much more!
